Male Students Trip to Naran and Babusar Top

Male Students Trip to Naran and Babusar Top (22 - 25 June 2022)

Virtual University Sialkot Campuses arranged a Recreational Trip for male students from 22nd June to 25th June 2022 to one of the beautiful places of Pakistan Naran Kaghan Valley. Traveling from Sialkot to Islamabad then expediting the journey on Hazara Motorway we reached Balakot. After Breakfast, we started our journey to Naran. Naran is a medium-sized town situated in the upper Kaghan valley in KPK province of Pakistan.

After having some rest at Naran, our Jeeps were ready to take us to the Saif ul Malook Lake. Thrilling journey toward Saif ul Malook is a 40-50 minutes adventurous and curvy jeep ride. Lake Saif-Ul-Malook is one of the most magnificent and aesthetic natural wonders. It is a lovely, clear water lake with a faint green tint located at an elevation of 3.224m (10,578ft) above sea level. It was looking mesmerizing in shiny daylight and left an awe-striking impact on students.

At night, the bazaar of Naran was crowded with people and had a view of the mall road like that of Murree. Next day we planned to visit Babusar Top and Lulusar lake. Babusar Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4.179m (13,710ft) above the sea level located on the boundary between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan provinces of Pakistan. From the pass one could enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains and valleys. The view from the top was truly breathtaking. Looking down from the top, you can see the spectacular road twisting and turning through the mountains.

While going to Babusar Top we stopped at Lulusar lake which is also a popular tourist attraction point. It is located at a height of 11,200 ft (3,410 m) above sea level. Water of this lake is so clean it reflects its surroundings like a mirror. Next day, Students enjoyed rafting at the river Kunhar and started their journey to Sialkot. On the whole it was a good experience. Students enjoyed a bonfire at Naran and dinner at Savour Foods. Faculty deserves special appreciation for organizing such memorable trips.
